Job Description

The Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Strategist to develop marketing initiatives for its Community market segment, focused on payer solutions and initiatives. This position is a combination of strategy and execution, leading the way with research and messaging and then running comprehensive multi-faceted campaigns. The Marketing Strategist helps fuel the growth of key markets and segments by incorporating a deep understanding of the market, product and users into the positioning, messaging and tactics designed to resonate with buyers.

A day in the life! 

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee marketing programs and ensure channel effectiveness, measurable results, and timely follow-up by sales team.
  • Work with solutions management to support new product launches, retention campaigns, and monitor selling of strategic add-ons.
  • Manage creative and development for demand generation programs which may include but not limited to copywriting, content marketing and product marketing.
  • Work with the events team to manage currently planned events and identify new potential events; support sales outreach to drive qualified new prospects to events; and manage and track the follow-up process post-event.
  • Plan, create, own, and maintain social media campaigns.
  • Manage development and execution of webinar campaigns including coordinating speakers, promotion strategy, in-webinar logistics, post-webinar follow-up, and analysis.
  • Drive email marketing programs including strategy, calendar, content creation and execution, as well as landing page and campaign creation in Marketo.
  • Responsible for all paid advertising efforts including creation, execution and post-campaign reporting
  • Work closely with sales team to accelerate sales efforts, and actively monitor and report on MQL generation, conversion, and influence.
  • In collaboration with Sales, build strategies and execute tactics to support sales bookings and revenue goals.
  • Monitor marketing and sales pipeline dashboards and metrics
  • Create and evolve messaging for presentations and outbound talk tracks to optimize for conversion.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and serve as a subject matter expert and go-to resource
  • May be expected to travel as much as 10-15% of the time to represent the company at tradeshows and internal events around the country.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Communications or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, including program strategy development, execution, and reporting
  • Track record of planning and managing multiple demand generation campaigns on tight deadlines
  • Must understand functional aspects of campaign management
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Salesforce.com and Marketo preferred) and website analytics tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, or Webtrends)
  • Track record of building relationships with sales, product, services, and other internal teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
