SmartEtailing, founded in 1999, provides comprehensive website and marketing solutions for North American specialty bicycle retailers that drive sales and increase profits. With SmartEtailing, a bike shop's website is transformed from a passive advertisement to an interactive, content-rich marketing vehicle that informs and sells to customers. This role can be performed fully remote or remote/in-office (12805 W 112th Ave, Broomfield CO).

The hiring range for this role is $23-28 an hour (depending on relevant skills and experience).
The role supports the Marketing Agency team members to research, conceptualize, and implement complex marketing projects, including but not limited to, sale events, promotions, product launches, category overviews, and informational content marketing. All work should have the express purpose of attracting consumers to retailer websites with clear calls to action intent on generating sales. This person should be a creative thinker and a problem solver, with a passion for developing forward-looking marketing campaigns and strategies. The Marketing Strategist I must understand the scope of each project, help plan and execute individual steps of a given project, and support other team members to create feasible solutions and to meet project deadlines.
JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Research and implement best practices for ecommerce-focused marketing campaigns
  • Manage complex projects with multiple milestones, creative partners, and stakeholders
  • Write audience-appropriate copy, including short form and long form, for digital and print
  • Write art direction for digital, print, and other projects as necessary
  • Inspire and support Agency team members in defining, executing, and communicating marketing strategies on behalf of clients and other stakeholders
  • Consult with clients to develop solutions, define project scope, and generate project estimates
  • Provide direction and feedback on the design and functionality of website frontend development projects
  • Collaborate effectively with graphic designers, developers, account team members, and other stakeholders
  • Manage work inside of project tracking software and keep team updated on progress
  • Stay current on retail marketing trends and bring new ideas to the company

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience with digital marketing tools, including but not limited to content creation, email marketing, social media, and web design
  • Demonstrable experience writing marketing copy and art direction that incorporates best practices for ecommerce and digital marketing
  • Organized and proficient at managing overlapping projects in a fast-paced environment and a detail oriented manner

  • Proven experience in collaborating with others in a professional environment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media

  • Limited domestic travel may be required
