The intern will sit the Marketing Strategy & Analytics team, under the Diner Acquisition department. This is a critical role to make recommendations on the spend across media channels to maximize Grubhub acquisition efforts. Additionally, this role will coordinate with cross functional teams to improve the efficiencies of reporting, processes and the quality of marketing data.

The intern will sit the Marketing Strategy & Analytics team, under the Diner Acquisition department. This is a critical role to make recommendations on the spend across media channels to maximize Grubhub acquisition efforts. Additionally, this role will coordinate with cross functional teams to improve the efficiencies of reporting, processes and the quality of marketing data.
The Impact You Will Make
- Measure media (upper, mid and lower funnels) performance and use insights to improve channels' efficiency by various dimensions
- Optimize media spend by using techniques like MMM, CPA, LTV, and incrementality test etc
- Analyze and drive diner quality by various dimensions
- Improve marketing/customer data
- Improve reporting processes through automation
- Rationalize marketing technologies (tagging/attribution)
What You Bring to the Table
- Current MBA or Masters/PhD student
- Bachelor's degree required in a quantitative field
- 1+ years of experience in an analytical role in a direct to consumer space tech company
- Proficient in SQL, able to write complex queries to pull big data from cloud environment

- Expert in Google analytics, Google Ads, Meta and Snapchat ads managers
- Proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau, ability to build interactive dashboards
- Experience in analyzing and building customer LTV
- Experience in incrementality tests
