The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for a Marketing Strategy & Analytics Senior Analyst for its Marketing Strategy & Analytics team. This person will work closely with various Nutanix marketing teams, including campaign, account-based, digital and web, field, social and partner marketing. This role will provide business-critical insights and will be an integral part in supporting data-centric marketing decisions and assessing the effectiveness of marketing programs and initiatives.

Your Role

What You'll Be Doing

• Build and maintain reports, visualizations, and data assets to inform marketing decision making and help quantify the impact of various marketing instruments
• Partner with Data Science team to migrate, structure, and model data critical to marketing decision making
• Conduct analysis that drives strategic recommendations on program effectiveness, operational efficiency, and ROI
• Support the development and scaling of data analytics strategy across marketing to improve organizational visibility and performance
• Communicate insights to key stakeholders and business leaders throughout the organization
• Serve as a subject matter expert for marketing data, tools, processes and KPIs

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of professional experience in marketing, consulting, finance, or other areas with an emphasis on business intelligence and/or analytics
• Extensive experience creating dashboards and building data extracts in Tableau. Exposure MicroStrategy, SQL, R and other business intelligence / data analysis tools preferred
• Extensive operational experience with Salesforce. Includes working knowledge of object relationships and reporting templates
• Highly advanced Excel skills
• Comfortable working with data and understanding implications of data
• Adept at critical thinking and solving complex business problems
• Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Ability to think and work strategically, but also execute as an individual contributor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and polished presentation abilities
• Bachelor's degree required

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $88,800 and $177,600/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
