The Opportunity

Nutanix is looking for a Marketing Strategy & Analytics Senior Analyst for its Marketing Strategy & Analytics team. This person will work closely with various Nutanix marketing teams, including campaign, account-based, digital and web, field, social and partner marketing. This role will provide business-critical insights and will be an integral part in supporting data-centric marketing decisions and assessing the effectiveness of marketing programs and initiatives.

Your Role

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain reports, visualizations, and data assets to inform marketing decision making and help quantify the impact of various marketing instruments
  • Partner with Data Science team to migrate, structure, and model data critical to marketing decision making
  • Conduct analysis that drives strategic recommendations on program effectiveness, operational efficiency, and ROI
  • Support the development and scaling of data analytics strategy across marketing to improve organizational visibility and performance
  • Communicate insights to key stakeholders and business leaders throughout the organization
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for marketing data, tools, processes and KPIs

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing, consulting, finance, or other areas with an emphasis on business intelligence and/or analytics
  • Extensive experience creating dashboards and building data extracts in Tableau. Exposure MicroStrategy, SQL, R and other business intelligence / data analysis tools preferred
  • Extensive operational experience with Salesforce. Includes working knowledge of object relationships and reporting templates
  • Highly advanced Excel skills
  • Comfortable working with data and understanding implications of data
  • Adept at critical thinking and solving complex business problems
  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to think and work strategically, but also execute as an individual contributor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and polished presentation abilities
  • Bachelor's degree required

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $88,800 and $177,600/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
