MNTN is seeking a highly motivated and talented Marketing Strategy Director with a passion for tactical innovation to join our team. In this dynamic role, you'll report directly to the SVP, Marketing, and play a crucial part in shaping MNTN's marketing direction through your creative and out-of-the-box thinking. You will be responsible for identifying and implementing captivating new approaches to break the mold of B2B marketing. As the Marketing Strategy Director, you will not only manage relationships with analyst research firms and industry trade groups, but also work closely with Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Digital Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of groundbreaking strategies.
You Will:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals, contributing to the overall success of our service and brand.
- Lead and manage relationships with industry analyst firms such as Gartner and Forrester, facilitating inquiries and conducting regular briefings to gain valuable insights into industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry trade groups like IAB and ANA, representing MNTN's interests and influencing the broader marketing ecosystem.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Digital Marketing, to develop comprehensive marketing playbooks that empower our expansion into new verticals. This pivotal role involves conducting in-depth analysis of emerging sectors to provide a macroeconomic outlook, as well as a comprehensive understanding of sector dynamics for both advertisers and their end users. These playbooks will serve as essential guides, equipping our marketing team with the insights and strategies needed to effectively break into and thrive within these untapped customer segments..
- Reimagine our marketing tactics across the board with a focus on innovation, striving to create best-in-class strategies that elevate MNTN in the connected TV/OTT space.
- Build and oversee a comprehensive marketing effectiveness reporting system. Regularly analyze and measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies, leverage this data to drive decision-making, and identify areas for improvement to increase ROI.
You Have:
- 8+ years of marketing strategy experience, preferably in the ad tech industry.
- Experience working in B2B marketing organizations
- Demonstrated experience working with analyst research firms and industry trade groups.
- Experience in the Connected TV/OTT space is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and marketing analytics tools.
- Comfort with remote work and managing teams across different locations.
