Description

The Marketing Strategy Intern will be exposed to various elements of traditional and digital marketing, mentored by a highly motivated and professional team of marketers. The marketing intern would have the opportunity for exposure to media practices, literature development, social media coordination, marketing operations, and trade show coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Copy editing for: announcements, media spotlights, literature & packaging updates, websites, newsletters, social media and other items as required.
• Organizes photo shoots and works in conjunction with marketing strategists and product managers to obtain product samples or cutaways as needed.
• Assists with the coordination of trade shows and sales-related events.
• Supports marketing operations needs by collecting product attributes for the product information management system as well as entering metatags for internal searchability of digital assets.
• Creates presentations and surveys with the guidance of the marketing team.
• Runs routine marketing reports.
• Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

• Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
• Basic understanding of social media marketing.
• Demonstrates strong project management skills in order to meet multiple deadlines; strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills
• Works independently within a fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment

Education and Experience

• The ideal candidate is entering their junior year of post-high school education in business focused on marketing or communications.
