Marketing Summer Internship
Job Description

If so, you may have what it takes to intern with the marketing organization, supporting our brand sponsorships and events team!
As the Marketing intern, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and optimization of Gas South’s brand through the execution of hospitality assets and events and engaging with some of our sponsorships like the Atlanta Braves, Gas South District, and Atlanta Open. You will support our TicketManager system helping us with back-end data input, analysis of ticket use, and coordinating our invitation systems. You’ll also help us execute and activate corporate external and internal events.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the Gas South brand, understand how marketing supports our full organization and business development, and learn our overall marketing plans. It’s a terrific opportunity to gain experience in corporate marketing fundamentals at Gas South.

You have well-developed communication (written and verbal) and people skills and possess the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues and internal stakeholders. You value diversity and build/maintain relationships based on honesty and trust.
Other stuff we like:
- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Internship or prior relevant work experience is preferred
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally
- Proficient writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Passion for event planning and details
- Interest in marketing operations
More details on what you would be responsible for:
- Coordinate promotional items, event materials, and develop a process for managing these items for the organization
- Assist with event planning, activation, and execution
- Learning our Ticket Manager system and supporting the input of data; assisting with training materials
- Assist with corporate gifting and promotional item distribution
