Marketing Support Coordinator

BASIC PURPOSE: This position's primary responsibility is the coordination and execution of marketing projects, including digital and print, for various business units at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate both digital and print project requests from various internal business units specifically Truck Care/Speedco and Construction.
• Project types include banners, signage, personalized maps, business cards, one sheets, flyers, digital deliverables, in-store campaign rollouts, etc.
• Serve as liaison through project lifecycle, from start of the project through production, execution & implementation.
• Work with graphic design team to create relevant and consistent graphics to meet the business unit needs
• Represent and advocate for internal business units to social media and loves.com teams.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the marketing department and the company
• Other responsibilities include writing, simple design and analytics reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, advertising, public relations or equivalent
• Experience:
  • 1-3 years experience in marketing, project management, graphics coordination, customer-facing communications, and related fields is desired but not required.

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Skills:
  • Hard Skills: Ability to use Mac and PC platforms. Strong Microsoft Office skills on Mac and PC. Ability to use Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat.
  • Soft Skills: Time management skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, effective analytical thinking skills, ability to communicate with a vast array of personalities in a professional manner, ability to be flexible, strong sense of urgency, and unquestionable work ethic.
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple/competing projects
  • Drive for results with a can-do attitude; pushes self and others to achieve results and project execution
• Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to work in an installation setting to install graphics or projects created.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and peripherals.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Valid Driver's License.
