The Marketing Support Specialist is responsible for administration and project management in a dynamic global marketing team of 40 plus people. Specifically, this position supports a global team of marketing managers who build and execute campaigns in support of our Investor Services business, and our firmwide marketing division which includes digital marketing, social media marketing, PR, content marketing and Creative Services as well as corporate brand.
The position serves as a key administrative and project support for senior marketing leaders including the head of the division and critical operational tasks such as workflow coordination, inquiry routing, and event support. The Marketing Support Specialist is also responsible for workflow coordination for our Creative Services team. In addition, this role documents and executes best practices for compliance as it relates to printed materials, multimedia, websites, etc. This position is critical to the team, partnering with various internal teams and external providers to ensure workflow and controls are in place and effective.

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Marketing Support Specialist. In this role you will provide direct administrative support to the Head of InServ and Firmwide Marketing and Communications. You will provide detailed calendar management, coordinate travel, and process expense reports.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Support the Managing Director of Marketing
- Be the key point of contact for work in take and routing to appropriate marketing discipline leads globally
- Responsible for New Hire onboarding and facilitation, training
- Creative Services: serve as workflow coordinator including work intake, routing, reporting and work assignments tracking; client interface for project status updates
- Audit and document best practices and procedures for the Marketing teams for annual submission to Compliance and Audit
- Support Global Marketing Team as needed including event and meeting logistics for large meetings and travel, supplies and catering
- Provide technology support - coordinate phone, equipment, technology and security requests for team
- Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials to internal and external audiences
- Support the publication and delivery of Marketing and Communication templates for internal distribution
- Maintain departmental records
- Submit client / prospect materials for external distribution to Compliance for approval
- Work with the InServ line of business and Marketing Mangers to ensure all external collateral has the appropriate disclaimers and Compliance approval
- Work with BBH Compliance to formalize best practices for all individuals responsible for creating materials across the LOB
- Provide selected event / webinar planning support to the Regional Marketing Managers as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong written and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt quickly to the needs of multiple teams
- Effective prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong detail orientation
- Willingness to take initiative with the ability to proactively resolve issues
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong Relationship skills with the ability to conduct oneself professionally with both internal clients and external contacts.
