Technology Marketing Manager
Cox Communications is currently seeking highly talented individuals to join our dynamic MarTech team, which forms an integral part of our rapidly expanding Marketing Operations organization. The Technology Marketing Manager will be responsible for technology solutions to support the performance, tracking and measurement of paid media and SEM. This role will be managing technology platforms that support SEM and media such as AWS, Snowflake, HighTouch, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Google, GA4, Tealium, Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have experience with data engineering, ETL, python coding to extract and move the data, Amazon AWS components, Snowflake, Google/Amazon platforms, tagging and measurement platforms, clean rooms, and more. This person will function as an expert on building data pipelines among various media components as well as liaison with technology and customer analytics teams on larger technology solutions and APIs. What You'll Do
- Coordinate media data and online data transfers to/from Snowflake and Cox's Enterprise Data Warehouse using SQL (requires expert SQL knowledge), HighTouch and/or custom python scripts
- Work closely with external consultants to develop and/or modify existing python scripts for data ETL
- Define data requirements in collaboration with digital, marketing, and external teams
- Manage timelines and milestones for solution implementations, launches, and QA
- Analyze/understand Cox audiences and partner methodology for targeting and retargeting
- Set up and manage prospect and customer lists
- Oversee 3rd party data onboarding efforts with technology platforms
- Responsible for daily maintenance and set up of segment logic, defining offline to online capabilities with segments, and integration with other martech data stacks
- Manage all direct database match efforts including list pulls and match rates by partner (Google, Amazon, and Meta)
- Cox.com and media tagging and set up via tag management system (Tealium)
- Retarget logic set up and maintenance across media partners and integration into Cox's Lead Gen system
- Present opportunities and communicate insights to cross-functional teams, including senior leadership

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, etc) and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 years' experience in a related field; or 10 years' experience in a related field
- Strong coding, debugging and problem-solving skills in Python (Intermediate) and SQL (Expert)
- Working knowledge of AWS and Snowflake
- Excellent people skills; team contributor actively engaged in team discussion and collaboration
- Excellent at critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies, ability to be flexible and open minded to new ideas
- Agency and outside technology vendor management
- Must be able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Track record of driving increased results performance
Note: Consideration for this role will include a technical assessment. The assessment will include questions on SQL and Python as well as a real-time coding exercise in SQL. The exercise could include rankings, joins and common table elements in the solution.
Preferred
- Degree in related discipline strongly desired (computer science or related field)
- Ability to understand complicated AdTech data flows and components, and recommend optimal data solutions
- Experience in Amazon AdTech solutions (Amazon DSP, Ad Server, Marketing Cloud)
- Working knowledge of and experience in Google Ads Platform, DV360 (Display & Video), SA360 (Search Ads), GA4, Tealium
- Knowledge of MarTech and industry best practices/standards
- Ability to collaborate with multiple agency and media partners
- Experience with Informatica
- Experience with data management platforms, 3rd party data onboarding solutions, and direct database management synchronizations
- Experience setting up/managing new technology stacks
- Experience and familiarity with Multi Touch Attribution, Media Mix Modeling, Tag Management Systems, and Dynamic Creative Toolsets
- Experience and thorough understanding of online marketing tactics and KPIs (paid search, digital display, remarketing, video pre-roll/broadband tv, paid social media)
- Business analytics. Understands numbers, trends, A/B testing, making sense of data.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $96,100.00 - $160,100.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
