Marketing/Communications Intern

Our Southeast Region Strategic Growth Team is seeking a Marketing/Communications Intern to work out of our Capital District office.
Your Impact
- Prepare and assemble documents for proposal submission.
- Edit, proofread, and incorporate edits to InDesign and Word documents.
- Prepare materials for presentations or client meetings.
- Gather information on clients, and prospective clients projects.
- Assist in analyzing data.
- Assist in requests for information, drafting correspondence.
- Assist with updating marketing materials, including resumes and project descriptions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- While based in a specific office, the Marketing Intern will serve as a regional resource working throughout a multi-state region.

- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related Undergraduate program.
- Demonstrated interest in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP's work and projects.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
- Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Prior internship and leadership involvement on campus.
