The Role

  • As a Marketo Administrator, you will be responsible for developing, building, and maintaining the architecture of Marketo to enable campaigns and programs to run efficiently and effectively. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of Marketo who is able to learn our instance, make recommendations for strategic improvements, and then implement these plans in order to continually optimize and develop the effectiveness of the platform. This role works in close partnership with multiple teams across our go-to-market teams, including marketing, sales, customer success, and enablement. The Marketo Administrator works closely within the Rev Ops team to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that will help the business scale and grow.

What You Will Do

  • Manage administration and expanded use of Marketo as the marketing automation platform.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand new program requirements and be able to communicate the technical aspects needed to configure and implement the solution. 
  • Responsible for proactive system maintenance, including Marketo release updates and evergreen programs.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including operational processes, workflows, and training documents.
  • Maintain processes to support data quality, along with data governance and compliance with data privacy regulations (such as CCPA, GDPR).
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to track business performance.
  • Provide insights on campaign performance through a range of metrics, reports and dashboards to help drive pipeline and revenue growth.
  • Manage Marketo integrations with third-party tools/software (Drift, Zoom, Zapier, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
  • Establish and train go-to-market teams on scalable marketing processes, including lead follow-up procedures, best practices for utilizing Marketing/Marketo Data in Salesforce and provide training for new Marketo Marketing users.

What Does It Take

  • 5+ years of marketing operations experience.
  • Marketo certification or 3+ years Marketo experience.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter who can multi-task well in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and optimization mindset.
  • A passion for the technical aspects of platform operations and governance.

Location 

This is a full-time, permanent position, either fully remote or based in our Indianapolis HQ. We do not offer Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance at this time.
