Marketo Engineer/Architect

• Document and report on client’s established campaign production processes and SLAs, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Build campaign segmentations, lists and campaign assets to client’s specifications, documenting use of components.
• Build campaign reports for client stakeholders, including testing reports, making recommendations to clients based on findings.
• Develop specialized integrated marketing automation strategies targeted to drive ROI in accordance with negotiated plans.
• Strategize and road map with client stakeholders to identify future needs and projects to enhance marketing operations maturity.
• Build, test, and launch marketing technology architecture and programs that are based on industry best practices and internally created frameworks.
• Develop, prepare, and deliver complete, concise, and easy to follow walkthroughs of the programs implemented and executed for client support.
• Integrate third-party solutions with our clients’ marketing automation platform.
• Experience putting best Marketing Operations practices in place, strong understanding of the underlying systems that support those processes, and a deep understanding of email marketing.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use advanced features of Marketing Automation platforms, including Marketo engagement programs.
• Ability to independently evaluate marketing automation plans and processes, and recommend process improvements.

• Hands-on experience of 3+ years with Salesforce and 3+ years with Marketo.
• Solid understanding of all aspects of the API development lifecycle from design build to governance management as they pertain to the MuleSoft platform.
• Good understanding of Salesforce Sales and Marketing processes is a big plus.
• Experience using SOAP and REST protocols is a plus.
• Excellent oral and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Marketo Certification preferred.
• Additional Salesforce Certifications e.g. Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I are highly desirable.
• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce CRM platform.
• Advanced knowledge of Marketo platform.
• Hands on experience with Mulesoft integration platform.
• Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning Design System and Salesforce development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL, Apex, LWC, Java and VisualForce.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales, Service and Marketing Clouds.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces, including reports and dashboards, in Salesforce or other systems.
• Strong systems knowledge with the ability to effectively utilize DevOps tools such as Metadata API, GIT, Visual Studio Code, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, etc.
• Strong understanding of Product development lifecycles.
• Experience with leading and coordinating cross-functional initiatives, conducting interviews and performing analyses to create business cases for projects.
• Experience performing live training sessions for internal and external stakeholders during system and process implementation.
• Must have strong communication skills and possess the ability to interact effectively with co-workers.
• Must have strong leadership skills.
• Salesforce DevOps experience is highly desirable.

Education and Certification

• BS. in Computer Science or a related field, or Professional Qualifications such as Salesforce Certification / Marketo Certification.
• 3+ years of Salesforce Development and Marketo Development.
• 4+ years of experience in application development and/or software engineering.
• 2+ years of proven continuous improvement analytical experience in a similar role, including project management and business analysis with an excellent understanding of continuous improvement concepts.
