Marketo Subject Matter Expert Manager
Job Description
The Demand Automation-Marketo SMEs Manager is responsible for managing the Marketo SMEs team located in X. The Manager will ensure that the team members have the right skills are being offered the right enablement programs are performing at an optimal level against their agreed upon responsibilities targets and KPIs while working on their individual development and keeping their engagement levels high.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Acting as ‘Program Admin’ in Jira (the tool used to assign requests to Marketo SMEs) assigning requests tracking request progress facilitating communication between the Program requestor and Program builder (Marketo SME) during the end-to-end process.
- Facilitating the developing of deep discipline skills within the team incorporating latest functionalities of the Marketo tool and the relevant processes and standards and preparation for getting professional certifications as needed.
- Organizing and facilitating the team members’ access to the best learning and enablement resources available both on the technical/hard skills side as well as on the soft skills side.
- Supporting team members to go above and beyond campaigns and programs execution by performing analysis of campaigns (based on campaign codes sharing between locations) and presenting results in the wider community (Demand Automation leadership DA Geo/Hub SMEs Demand Strategists etc).
- Driving innovation and best practice sharing within the Marketo SMEs Global team and within the Demand Automation Discipline as a whole.
• Initiating regular 1:2:1 interactions and team meetings with the Marketo SMEs within the location.
• Supporting team members to craft their own individualized career paths helping them to find relevant stretch projects and suitable mentors to help them advance in their respective careers.
• Ensuring team members are actively participating in the engagement activities organized within the Demand Automation Global Discipline and within the location (e.g. activities organized by Ambassadors or own Marketo SMEs team activities such as Teamraderie Manager Empowerment Fund based activities etc)
• Working with other managers and leaders across Bangalore for best governance sharing practices campaigns and timing optimization adopting / designing / integrating marketing processes.
• Working with the other Marketo SMEs Managers in the other locations (Bucharest Dalian etc) with the Marketo SMEs Global leader and with the Demand Automation Global Leader for best practice sharing common approach on global team management etc.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Deep understanding of Marketing (+5yrs experience) and strong knowledge of customer centric marketing – direct marketing loyalty B2B B2C etc.
- Previous experience in Marketing Automation / Campaign Deployment.
- Understanding of Marketing Automation tools such as the EMM Suite Marketo Eloqua etc.
- Ideally having experience with customer databases and analytics.
- Previous management experience or team leading experiences would be a plus.
- Excellent communication and project management skills ability to meet deadlines and targets.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; experience in working with virtual and global teams.
- Strong cross-culture insight and adaptability; experience in working within multicultural teams is a plus.
- Self-confidence flexibility and high personal responsibility.
- Impeccable personal ethics with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Bachelor Degree Marketing major preferred.
- Fluent in English.
