Marketplace Manager - NYC

The Tasks

• Ensures the operations of CookUnity Commissary follows the NY State Department of Agriculture Food Safety requirements.

• Ensures compliance with the HACCP plan and maintains logs

• Manages the receiving, cooking, cooling and packing processes to ensure compliance with HACCP plan

• Reports/tracks any significant deviations from quality standards and Coaches our Chef partners in real time on Corrective Actions.

• Assists with regular training topics for CookUnity staff and Chef partners

• Participates as an active member in enforcing Food Safety Rules and Regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• NYC Food Protection Certificate or willingness to complete certification
• Experience working in a food production or food service environment.
• Organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrates versatility and ability to maintain multiple tasks
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills and knowledge
• Positive and committed doing the right thing.
• Experience working with a team in a fast paced environment-
• Good communication skills-
• Proficiency G Suite/Google Workspace.
• Team player with a positive, collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work 30-40 hours per week

• All final pay rates will be determined by candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
• Pay Range for this position: Up to $39 per hour
