MarTech Intern - Data Science
Job Description
Day - 08 Hour (United States of America)
This data science project aims to analyze visitor behavior patterns on the Stanford Healthcare public website, with a specific emphasis on Clinical Trials registrations and general event signups. Leveraging primary data sources such as Adobe Analytics and the Customer Data Platform (CDP), along with supplementary insights from the third-party platform ORC (for event data), the intern will conduct an in-depth analysis. The overarching goal is to uncover key behavior patterns that drive successful registrations and conversions. This analysis will ultimately optimize the website's user experience, leading to increased engagement and participation in healthcare-related events.
Specific Goals:
Behavior Pattern Analysis: The intern will delve into visitor behavior data obtained from Adobe Analytics and CDP. By examining clickstreams, session durations, navigation paths, and content interactions, the intern will identify common behavior patterns associated with successful Clinical Trials registrations and general event signups.
Feature Identification: Utilizing data from Adobe Analytics and CDP, the intern will identify potential features that correlate with higher conversion rates. These features may include specific website sections, content types, time of day, referral sources, device types, and more.
Segmentation Strategies: The intern will employ data from Adobe Analytics and CDP to segment the visitor population based on demographic factors, referral sources, and engagement history. This segmentation will provide insights into behavior patterns within different user groups, facilitating targeted optimization strategies.
Predictive Modeling: Based on insights gleaned from behavior pattern analysis and data from Adobe Analytics and CDP, the intern will develop predictive models to forecast the likelihood of registrations and signups for both Clinical Trials and general events. These models will aid in identifying potential registrants and informing personalized communication strategies.
Recommendation Engine Design: Building on predictive models and utilizing data from Adobe Analytics and CDP, the intern will design a recommendation engine. This engine will suggest relevant Clinical Trials and general events to visitors based on their browsing history, preferences, and observed behavior patterns. The aim is to elevate user engagement and participation.
Report and Recommendations:
The intern will compile a comprehensive report summarizing the analysis, methodologies, findings, and proposed strategies for optimization. The report will offer actionable insights for improving the website's user experience and registration rates, with a specific focus on Clinical Trials registrations and general event signups. By achieving these goals, the intern will contribute to the continuous improvement of the Stanford Healthcare public website's effectiveness in promoting healthcare-related events and fostering increased visitor engagement and participation.
