PAY SCALE: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 ANNUALLY

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Product Owner, Personalization steers the creation and implementation of a Golden 1 digital personalization strategy across the customer lifecycle.

This role delves deep into our existing personalization practices, identifying opportunities for improvement. By designing, developing, and spearheading A/B tests, multivariate tests, and tailored campaigns, this position aims to create a holistic Golden 1 digital personalization approach, capturing every nuance of the customer lifecycle. Collaborative by nature, the specialist will unite with cross-functional teams, sourcing insights to shape our personalization roadmap, ensuring it remains in tandem with both emerging market trends and our overarching corporate strategy.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:

  1. Analyze current digital personalization practices and identify areas for enhancement.
  2. Design, develop, and execute A/B tests, multivariate tests, and personalization campaigns.
  3. Develop a comprehensive Golden 1 digital personalization strategy considering all stages of the customer lifecycle.
  4. Implement the devised personalization strategy, ensuring its seamless integration across all digital touchpoints.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and feedback for the Personalization roadmap.
  6. Regularly review and update the Personalization roadmap based on evolving business needs and market trends.
  7. Ensure that the Personalization roadmap aligns with Golden 1's broader corporate strategy.
  8. Coordinate with marketing, data analytics, tech, and other relevant departments to ensure a consistent personalization experience.
  9. Present the Personalization strategy and roadmap to senior leadership and gather their insights and approvals.
  10. Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the implemented personalization strategies using relevant metrics and KPIs.
  11. Use gathered data and insights to iterate and refine the personalization techniques and methodologies.
  12. Keep the customer at the center of all decision-making processes, ensuring their needs and preferences are prioritized.
  13. Collect customer feedback on the personalization experience and use it to improve future strategies.
  14. Regularly research and stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in digital personalization.
  15. Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences focused on personalization to enhance knowledge and bring innovative ideas to Golden 1.
  16. Regularly report on the progress, achievements, and challenges faced in the personalization domain to the senior leadership.
  17. Provide insights and recommendations based on the performance data.
  18. Develop and maintain an understanding of the pertinent regulatory requirements and risks inherent to job responsibilities, establish, and maintain control activities that mitigate those risks consistent with the Credit Union's risk appetite, and ensure operational integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASK:

  1. Strong oral and written communication skills required to interact or complete technical analysis with Credit Union staff, management, or vendor partners.
  2. Strong adaption skills contributing to an environment that promotes and enables change to facilitate improved ways of working.
  3. Understanding of Agile based development practices.
  4. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as financial calculators, personal computer, printer, facsimile machine, and telephone.
  5. Makes sound decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
  6. Ability to multitask, work under pressure and tight deadlines; may be required to work extended hours to complete tasks or respond to system production issues.
  7. Develop, document, and maintain operational policies and procedures, including the designing and documenting detailed technical process flows, and the development of operational performance and quality metric standards and reports.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:

  1. INTERNAL: All Credit Union Staff
  2. EXTERNAL: Vendors, suppliers, government agencies, other industry associations and peers at other financial institutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. EDUCATION: Minimum four-year degree required in Marketing, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
  2. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7 years' experience with a combination of technical skills and digital marketing strategy. Experience working with a CMS and or CRM is desired.
  3. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
  • Design, develop, and execute A/B tests, multivariate tests, and personalization campaigns.
  • Own end-to-end experiment management, including test setup, content creation, segmentation, and tracking.
  • Monitor test performance, analyze results, and provide actionable insights to optimize the digital experience.
  • Utilize Analytics and other tools to analyze data, generate reports, and communicate test results to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with marketing, design, development, and analytics teams to align on strategies, share insights, and drive collaboration.
  • Communicate test plans, progress, and results to stakeholders effectively.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the digital experience through innovative use of functionalities.
  • Excellent oral communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.
  • Strong research, technical analysis, planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to use logical reasoning when interpreting facts.
  • Experience with small to medium enterprise software systems, as well as the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Ability to analyze and document technical business processes.
  • Ability to make observations, examinations, evaluations, and recommendations.
  • Ability to participate on projects and assist team members to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Strong PC skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Carry and respond to a cell phone 7 days a week. May need to diagnose problems from home, occasionally may need to travel to site to correct problem either by car or public conveyance.
  2. Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
  3. Corrected vision within the normal range.
  4. Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
  5. Ability to lift 20 lbs. as may be required.
  6. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
  7. Occasional travel may be required locally, statewide, and throughout the United States to attend seminars and vendor group meetings. Overnight travel and evening schedules included.
  8. Occasionally required to change work hours or work long hours including working on weekends to accomplish tasks.
