Role: MarTech Strategist
We are looking for a lead MarTech leader to help build the MarTech capability for Slalom in Charlotte. You will work closely with a cross-functional practice comprised of researchers, strategists, designers, and technologists.
You will be central in pushing the limits of MarTech, designing and scoping MarTech projects, as well as implementing them in our clients' MarTech platforms. You enjoy helping businesses unlock the value potential from a MarTech stack and developing their internal maturity and competency. A large part of this role will act as a consultant to senior clients helping them use technology to address company goals & strategy whilst establishing a marketing technology roadmap that ensures alignment of technology improvements with business objectives and operational budgets.
What you will do
- You consider yourself a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and in a compelling manner, and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence.
- You will lead, design & deliver client consulting engagements which span the entire MarTech ecosystem including but not limited to; pre-sales and proposals, staffing, building out project plans and project cost estimation.
- You will combine your MarTech know-how and marketing savviness with your understanding of not only various digital platforms/systems but how they interconnect and integrate with each other.
- You will lead & develop people, utilizing your commercially mature communication skills alongside your strong technical competency to lead from the front.
- You will keep up to date with the bleeding edge of MarTech platform development such as Adobe Experience Cloud, Google Marketing Platform, Marketing Automation and/or CDP's.
What will you bring
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies: DMP/CDP/TMS/ Analytics/Decisioning Engine. (E.g., architecture data collection, dashboard building, tag manager management, journey mapping/building and CRO programs)
- Demonstrable core consulting skills with a track record of quality delivery, interpersonal and cross-functional relationship development skills.
- Strong understanding of MarTech ecosystems and architecture, requirements gathering, gap analysis, optimization.
- Technical skills including SQL, HTML, JavaScript, marketing automation best practices, understanding of tracking implementation.
- Ability to drive results independently but thrives in collaborative environments.
