Job Description:

The HPE PE team seeks an experienced software engineering with AI background for the CPE team. This role involves working across the various software components within CPE to guide architectures towards AI relevancy. This is a highly visible role that will require working across teams and across organizations. Close collaboration with product management is required. Close collaboration with architecture leads is also required. Collaboration with customers is also expected. The successful candidate will have a combined background in HPC and AI and understands both.

Responsibilities:

• Provides direct and ongoing software architecture leadership.
• Mentors, educates, and guides forward-looking AI additions within CPE.
• Can produce architecture documents, write software, and advise on how to best move CPE towards a more relevant HPC with AI solution.
• Works with outside customers and senior HPE architects to understand technical customer technical needs and direction.
• Works with product management to inform and influence CPE in light of HPC with AI.
• Mentors CPE engineers on AI and AI needs.
• Able to write, integrate, and produce CPE software, software demonstrations, and software integrations.

Education and Experience Required:

• Doctorate degree in a related software engineering field is required.
• 5+ years prior related experience.
• Prior production software development experience is required.
• Prior experience developing software written in C, C++, Python, or related languages is required.
• Prior experience working within an agile software environment using Jira and related tools is also highly desirable.
• Prior experience working within an AI company is highly desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong technical skills including HPC, AI, software engineering.
• Current knowledge of the AI space.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

USD Annual Salary: $142,500.00 - $327,500.00
