Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: Serve as senior Community Planner for installation master planning. Self-direct activities involving development/preparation of maps, plans, utility system analyses, traffic studies, energy master plans, expansion capability planning, advanced planning of military installations.

In addition to meeting one of the Individual Occupational Requirements (IOR) above, you must also possess the required specialized experience below in order to qualify for this position.

Specialized Experience for GS-13 Master Planner (Interdisciplinary): One year of specialized experience which includes providing senior Architectural, Landscape Architectural, or Community Planning theories, principles, and concepts to provide technical advisory services on programmatic execution in developing/implementing Army wide policies, processes, and procedures commensurate with military construction (MILCON) Business Processes. Coordinating activities with other offices as an agency representative, including Federal, State, local, as well as contractors to develop and recommend programmatic planning solutions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
