Background

Downstream Hardware and Consumables business unit are responsible for biomanufacturing chromatography and filtration equipment, software, and consumables, as well as laboratory chromatography equipment. We offer a broad and scalable solution portfolio developed over 30 years and among our products you will find strong brands such as ÄKTA, UNICORN and Allegro.

Objective

The aim for this project is to investigate and identify business opportunities and needs for downstream hardware equipment and consumables in the large/mid-scale bioprocess production, the project will have a global perspective with focus on emerging markets.

Who you are

• Master's student in Chemical Engineering, Molecular Biotechnology or similar.
• Eligible for master thesis project work between January 2025 – 30 June 2025
• Any experience or prior knowledge about life science, biotechnology, chromatography, or filtration, will be considered an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• You are curious, open-minded and enjoy taking initiative on new ideas.
