Warehouse - Part-Time newsprint handler

Comply with all facility material handling Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s)

Comply with newsprint inventory policies and procedures.

First-in/First-out newsprint inventory rotation.

Load, unload, stage, and inventory newsprint rolls as required.

Document all received and transferred newsprint in/out of the inventory warehouse

Drive and set up forklift and/or clamp truck for operation, including routine inspection & maintenance.

Set up and basic operation of dock doors, dock levelers, fork and clamp trucks, pallet jacks, compactors, and scales.

Load, unload, inspect, and stage printed products, supplies, and other materials as needed.

Assist with waste newsprint recovery & recycling.

Assist with pallet organization.

Distribution dock support.

Assist with inventory, reports & web portal data entry as required in the warehouse.

Skills

Computer experience and ability to work with email and MS Office applications

Ability to manage accurate inventory documentation warehouse

Ability to communicate effectively with other departments
