What is the Position:

This is a full-time position designed for recent graduates and junior level professionals who are passionate in education and has the drive to grow into a future leader in education industry.

Employees in this position will firstly has resources and expectation to become a great math educator, providing world top teaching/teaching services to PreK-9th graders of all levels. Other than teaching, this position will provide profound opportunities in all business functions, such as curriculum development, business operations, teaching management, marketing, etc. to foster all-round leaders in education industry, such as department level managers, center director, or even joining Think Academy global expansion in emerging markets and countries.

Applicants join us from different backgrounds with no prior teaching-related experience required. With the right mindset, this position will strengthen your teaching capacity and leadership competencies, and eventually lead you to an ideal educational career. 

Job Responsibilities: Responsible for handling our Math Kangaroo activities for the Fall Semester and to assist with teaching classes according to the Think Academy curriculum.

Mathematics Teaching

• Teach Mathematics for PreK-5 graders in an in-person or online class
• Develop, execute and reiterate classes that reflect Think's curriculum and teaching methods to maximize the students' learning outcome
• Conduct open and respectful communication with students, parents and colleagues to create and maintain interactive Think communities
• Attend the internal teacher training program at Think to prepare and advance yourself as a professional educator
• Work with world-class curriculum design and teacher management teams to advance teaching-related services       

Math Kangaroo Responsibilities:

• Design and execute MK activities in the Fall Semester 
  • Coordinate and host school events, open houses, and community outreach programs to showcase the school's MK capabilities and opportunities
    • Organize informational sessions for students and parents
  • Establish efficient strategies and methods to attract students to taking the MK test
  • Establish online and offline communities to expand Think Academy brand awareness and nurture potential target groups
  • Maintain a positive relationship with our parent community

Requirements & Qualifications:

• HIGHLY PREFER MANDARIN SPEAKERS
• Bachelor’s degree or above, Math, Education, Communication, and STEM-related majors are preferred, but not required. 
• 0-2 years of teaching experiences, or experience in education sectors are preferred 
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English
• Comfortable and confident working with young children!
• Energetic and passionate self-starter with the ability to envision solutions and take initiative to execute towards the goal 
• Willing to join the entrepreneurial team and explore how to build an organization from the ground-up
• Having experience with social media and/or marketing is a plus
• Achievements in Mathematics and related competition is a big plus, but not required

Pay Range:

• Entry Level Pay Range (Total Annual Salary)：$75k - $85k
  • Guaranteed Annual Salary: $65k
  • Expected first year teaching salary (depends on actual lessons you delivered): $5k-$10k
  • Annual Performance Based Bonus: $0-10k
