What You'll Be Doing

The Technical Analyst - FUME/HSE is an integral part of delivering, maintaining, and supporting products and solutions in a way that drives business value. The Technical Analyst helps enable business effectiveness by identifying opportunities in or across business areas for leveraging technology, process, or information. The Technical Analyst identifies systems requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems. He or she serves as thought leader, influences evolution of internal IDS standards, adoption of new technologies, enhancement of existing systems, and process changes.

How You'll Succeed

  • Must have experience with IBM Maximo implementations and upgrade projects, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing & training, deployment, hyper care support.
  • Must serve as a technical expert and work with business to identify and capture new opportunities, improve processes, and optimize the value MQ IT can provide, including replication of solutions company-wide across sites.
  • Must be able to evaluate the organization's needs, anticipate potential issues, and create key components that ensures the systems and architecture meets the requirements.
  • Must have experience in integration of IBM Maximo with third party applications like SAP, Oracle, OSI PI or any Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool.
  • Must have experience with business intelligence - strong data analytics/mining/presentation formats and query optimization is a must.
  • Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives for manufacturing solutions.
  • Stay up to date on technology trends and cross-functional capabilities.
  • Drive delivery of rapid product-centric technology solutions via agile methodologies.
  • Must be able to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence decision making at senior leadership level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Must have experience in Computer System Validation processes.
  • Manage workload via Lean practices and principles, keeping a focus on problem-solving.

What You Should Bring

  • Implementation and support experience of Maximo Anywhere will be preferred.
  • Experience in resolving issues with Maximo Asset Maintenance, WO process, Anywhere, Automation scripts.
  • Exposure or hands on experience of Java programming language and SQL
  • Maximo 8 Certification will be preferred.
  • Experience in informal leadership.
  • Knowledge of or experience using an agile and lean framework for the entire solution lifecycle including design, implementation, automation, modernization, maintenance, and optimization of solutions.
  • Experience in GxP operations.
  • Experience working globally across organizational levels and in a multicultural environment.
  • Ability to influence across organizational boundaries.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience using distributed solutions and configurable commercial off-the-shelf software (COTS).
  • Previous functional experience in a FUME/HSE area.

Your Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
