Job Description
As a Product Management MBA Summer Intern at Bungie, you will develop product strategy and help build the roadmap for Destiny 2. You will conduct industry research, draw insights, craft and communicate recommendations to stakeholders, and help prioritize new content and features that grow our player base and revenue.
In this role you will be embedded in the Product Management discipline, reporting to the Principal Product Manager for Destiny 2 Seasons. You will work closely with Product Managers as well as Analytics, Consumer Insights, Development, Marketing, and Publishing teams.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in a U.S. college, university, or related program and returning to school in the fall upon conclusion of the internship
- Available to work full-time for 12 weeks throughout the summer with a set May or June start date
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct competitive product research, identify key differentiators, insights, and best practices, and translate findings into actionable feature recommendations for Destiny 2
- Build expertise in industry-leading first-time user experience and player on-boarding features, and recommend updates to the Destiny 2 new player experience based on your findings
- Define new game features for Destiny 2 that grow the player base in key markets and demographics, and build alignment with stakeholders to prioritize these features
- Develop strategy and guard rails to guide expressions of the Destiny IP and franchise
- Learn, have fun, and help evolve a game that millions of people love to play
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent degree program
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Comfortable deriving insights and recommendations from data
- Familiarity with business frameworks and their application to ambiguous problem spaces
- Adept at balancing multiple concurrent projects through effective delivery, prioritization, stakeholder management, and time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to influence partners and stakeholders through clear, concise documentation and presentations
- Desire to learn and grow professionally, and openness to feedback and improvement
- Familiarity with the gaming industry, and interest in product and data optimization in gaming
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or equivalent applications
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
- Familiarity with the Destiny franchise and/or Destiny 2
- Passion for any of the following: first person shooters, live service games, collection- and progression-based (grinding) games
Listed below is this role's base pay range within the greater Seattle area. In other locations approved for remote work by Bungie and our external resource vendors, this pay range may be adjusted to the local market and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly),

Washington State Pay Range
$75,000—$75,000 USD
Bungie employees in the U.S. also receive:
- 20 days of accrued time-off in the form of PTO and sabbatical days, depending on the level of the position
- 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date
- 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays annually
- One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
