Analyzes, assesses, and improves asset integrity, reliability, and effectiveness of preventative and predictive maintenance based on data collected through Inspection, Testing and Maintenance program activity. Performs/participates in inspections, reliability incidents investigations, rotating equipment reliability analyses, optimizations, and mechanical integrity reviews; incorporates findings into the asset care strategy.
Supports medium sized clients/customers and makes significant contributions to more complex projects under periodic supervision. General knowledge of the work function and Chevron's practices.
- This position will be responsible for providing support to operations and other related disciplines with measurement analytics and activities.
- Collaborate closely with field personnel and the data management team to address data issues/anomalies, offering recommendations for enhancing business processes through data analysis.
- Manual entry of 3rd party volumes and liquid quality data
- Uses Flow-Cal measurement data system tools and reports to analyze both imported and manual volumes and liquid quality data to ensure accuracy measured volumes.
- Maintains local meter data base and volume information in Flow-Cal's measurement platform for assigned assets.
- Creates, reviews, and distributes various analytical information and reports needed to validate the accuracy of measurement data.
- Provide loss/gain support to accounting, field measurement and operations personnel in the tracking and resolution of custody transfer issues in compliance with applicable SOX and internal measurement specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures.
- Works in conjunction with third party interconnecting companies to insure timely and accurate measurement data exchange.
- Works with field measurement operations to prepare and provide current and historical meter information for use in the verification of MCF gas, and gross and net barrels, as well as mass balances were applicable, for daily and monthly G/L resolution.
- Works closely with and provides input to the measurement technicians, and field operations supervisors to resolve meter related issues.
- Reconcile tank tickets in measurement and or accounting systems with SCADA generated reports for assigned assets.
- Track meter factor shifts and updates to volumetric data.
- This job will follow a 9/80 work schedule with a pre-approved 2 day a week hybrid schedule.
Qualifications
- The Volumetric Measurement Analyst requires a bachelor's degree or work experience equivalent in lieu of degree. (e.g, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance)
- Preferred 3-5 years of experience in Flow-Cal Liquids and Gas applications.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift rapidly.
- Experience reviewing and editing liquid volumetric data, estimating bad data, and troubleshooting balance configurations and associated liquid volumetric data.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in utilizing Excel, adept at crafting and setting up VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, general formulas, and data visualization tools.
- Must have aptitude for analyzing data.
- Must have good communications skills and work well with other stakeholders.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
