Position Overview:
The McDonald's Business and Specialty Product Analyst NA is responsible for our customer success with the McDonald's System (Havi, MB in Canada, McCain, Tyson, Dorada, Peco and LATAM supply routes) working closely with these customers and the respective customer plants to manage customer pricing, demand forecast, order patterns, safety stock requirements at the different points in the supply chain; joint supply chain projects, and the building of relationships and customer insight from the customer plant level up. Armed with all this, this person will then be able to collaborate with our risk management and supply chain and transport organizations to find both short term fixes and long term solutions that work for both Bunge and the Global Customer.
The Analyst will spend 50% of their time working closely with the Product Line Management for High Oleic Oils on activities that cut across all customers of such oils (beyond McDonald's). The Analyst will provide analytical support for all aspects of managing Bunge Oils' product portfolio and product lifecycle including overall product line profitability, new product development, industry driven requirements, and SKU rationalization. This role will also work with sales, marketing & innovation, supply chain and other departments to assist with matching market trends and customer requirements to current product offerings or identifying gaps in the product portfolio specific to HO Oils.
Responsbilities:
- Setting the right customer expectations and meeting or exceed these expectations on forecasting, oil flow management, pricing build up and communication and in general meeting the GC goals on safety stock, communication, execution and strategic project work
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple activities at once since deadlines are set irrespective of each other, particularly the monthly risk management processes, along with ongoing long term activities (maintenance to quality tracking and contingency systems, miscellaneous projects), and ad-hoc analysis requests
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Quantitative skills for 1) McDonald's System pricing derived from the Global Book process 2) analytical support for the HO Product Line
- Communicating, listening to and working collaboratively with with the key external McDonald's system stakeholders listed above and key internal stakeholders relating to daily McDonald's supply management and the HO Product Line
Education and Experience:
- Degree in finance, economics, or accounting with 4+ years analytical and / or customer engagement experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience, for instance in an FP&A department supporting the commercial business
- Experience working in a global organization
- Experience with accounting and financial systems a plus
- Strong excel skills required, and ability to create insights form data
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required
- Ability to create, develop and leverage relationships within and across work groups to achieve results
- Ability to promote and encourage communication among different stakeholders (FP&A, business leaders, commercial teams, etc.) to ensure alignment
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently while keeping manager informed and aligned on priorities
