MDA Threat Analyst

Torch Technologies is seeking a candidate with 3years or greater Ballistic Missile Defense related threat engineering experience to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Huntsville, AL. The candidate must have knowledge of threat characteristics to include but not limited to trajectory, debris, plume signatures, RCS signatures, and IR signatures. Previous experience working with the Intelligence Community is highly desired. The candidate will develop parametric threat spaces encompassing intelligence assessments for BMDS design, test, and performance assessment as well as analyze and map BMDS functions and sensitivities to the threat properties. They will develop threat requirements for BMDS development efforts and review submitted requirements for completeness and technical accuracy. The candidate will perform threat analysis tasks to include analysis of technical data from the Intelligence Centers, real world data collections to benchmark threat models, and Special Studies and Quick Reaction Tasks (QRT) to support MDA leadership. The candidate will lead integration of threat data products to include quality control of products and resolution of any identified issues.

Job Requirements

The candidate must have strong leadership, oral and written communication skills. The candidate must possess a Bachelor degree in a technical field and3 years experience.

Advanced degree preferred

This position requires that the candidate have an active secret clearance with a TS/SCI clearance preferred.
