MDS Data Management Analyst

Seeking a junior level candidate to provide Data Management and Importing in support of the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) Test Analysis and Reporting mission. The Test Analysis and Reporting effort is responsible for providing system level analysis of the Missile Defense System flight and ground testing activities. The Data Management activities are critical to performing accurate analysis in the highly time sensitive MDA environment.The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience with data management.Duties include:

• Coordinate flight and ground test data product requirements for the MDA/SEP team to support analysis needs and provide input through the Data Management System (DMS)
• Setup the MDA/SEP analysis database per test event based on Red and Blue force configurations, test cases/event settings, and testing timeframes
• Retrieve data from the MDA Data Managment Systemand import/map into MDA/SEP analysis databases
• Identify issues with data products and coordinate updates with data providers as needed
• Track and document all steps in the data retrieval and import process and provide government leadership with status
• Provide requirements for improving the data import process through enhanced tools to increase efficiency and reduce errors

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Ability to effectively communicate with technical personnel
• Ability to work independently
• Meticulous and attention to detail is a must
• Adept with Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with Atlassian Products (JIRA, Confluence) and SQL is desired
• Experience with MDA data management is desired
