As a Advanced Design Engineer Intern, you will be working on new architecture design and development in commercial and electric vehicle propulsion solutions. The primary responsibility is to develop new component designs and to support the development, testing, and release of vehicle propulsion solutions.

Job Description

Role Summary: The ECH Engineering Intern will normally be tasked with completing a project pertaining to electronic controls hardware. The projects are directly related to a real-world and current engineering challenge.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, development, procurement and testing of electronic hardware. These projects are tailored to the skillset and experience of the intern.

• Gathering data, generating reports/presentations, and participating in design reviews, as required.

Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Student that has completed their 2nd year of study preferred.

• Degree Programs Considered: Bachelor's, Master's, PhD Major Programs

• Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree

• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred

• Must be able to complete a minimum of 10 weeks

• Must be able to complete 40 hours per week

• Willingness to learn from others on the job

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering in process

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• No experience in design of powertrain components required
• Knowledge of mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
• Strong oral and written business communication skills
• Strong organization and analytical ability
