The Opportunity
Mechanical Engineer
We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in system design and manufacturing processes, contributing to designing and fabricating mechanical components, parts and assemblies for an Industrial Automated Machine using Inventor software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced tools and software to drive engineering excellence.
The ideal individual for this position must possess the following:
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
- Experience with drafting standards and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge on Hydraulic design and component selection.
Brief Summary of the Positions' Primary Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate mechanical components, parts and assembly for an Industrial Automated Machine using Inventor software.
- Conduct research and analysis to develop innovative solutions for mechanical engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of mechanical systems into larger projects.
- Provide support during the build and installation process, ensure projects are built properly and according to design specifications
- Perform calculations, simulations, and testing to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Create technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, procedure and reports.
- Participate in the development of system design concepts and prototypes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source materials and components for projects.
- Support Machine final FAT (Factory Acceptance Test)
Required Experience, Education and Qualifications
- Required: Proven 2-5 Years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, including design, analysis, creating Bills of Materials (BOM) and testing.
- Required: A Valid Class 5F driver's license.
- Required: Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
