Media and Entertainment Support Engineer

**This position can either be based out of our greater NYC offices or fully remote.***

At CoreWeave we are building the next generation public cloud for accelerated workloads. Our stack consists of 8,000 bare metal servers with 45,000 GPUs total with over 7 data-centers. We lay Kubernetes on top to provide bare metal performance to users in ML Training, Real Time Inference and Media & Entertainment markets. CoreWeave espouses small teams of high-performing, highly accountable engineers; the use of open source tools and libraries whenever possible; and focusing on delivering reliable, useful software to our customers.
Your Role and Responsibilities
The Media and Entertainment Support Engineer will deal directly with clients in the M&E space to manage their workloads, perform pipeline setup, and ensure that their hardware requirements are available when needed and troubleshooting any issues that arise from hardware configuration

• Support media and entertainment clients by troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving problems across various technologies
• Create best practices, or build tools, used by customers or other Support Engineers
• Identify customer obstacles and raise concerns with engineering in order to implement support improvements
• Learn technical concepts quickly with a strong sense of urgency
• Be a creative problem solver, who is passionate about innovation and customer experience

Requirements

• 1+ years of development or technical support experience
• 1+ years of experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
• Ability to run and debug code through VScode and/or Intellij
• Experience in Linux and/or Windows OS
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Can deal with ambiguity and work with minimal supervision
• Good understanding and experience using GIT
• Goal orientated, self motivated, and a drive to succeed
• Minimum basic knowledge of high level scripting languages such as Python

Additional Skills

• Comfortable working with containers, docker, and/or Kubernetes
• Experience in professional programming
• Experience working inside the media and entertainment space e.g. games, vfx, or streaming
• Scripting knowledge (Bash, Shell, Powershell), Server and Database monitoring
