The Media Coordinator will learn the fundamentals of media planning and buying and is responsible for assisting in the stewardship of all media for existing clients, in addition to research, development, ad trafficking, flowchart and contract management.

• Gather information to be used in developing media plans, such as demographic profiles, media usage habits, media costs, and competitive spend data
• Assist planners in developing budget allocations across media, media mix scenarios, resulting in strategic and effective media plans
• Prepare and maintain buy details, flowcharts and budgets for media plans using Excel and PowerPoint
• Review and verify media buys to ensure proper execution
• Issue and maintain insertion orders
• Assist planners with campaign analysis and optimization recommendations
• Provide research for and write portions of media Point-Of-Views (POVs) and recommendations considering reach, audience information, and product usage information to determine whether appropriate choice for use
• Conduct competitive analyses including collection, analysis, and interpretation of competitor data to draw relevant conclusions

This role is preferred to be located near our Denver, CO office, with work from home flexibility.

• Our HQ is in Denver, Colorado. Our fun, downtown location is open for those who wish to work in the office, set visitor meetings, and collaborate with coworkers in person. • Team members must live and work in the United States* (*territories excluded), and have access to reliable, high-speed internet.

BuiltIn: #BI-Remote

Annual salary range: $45,000 - $55,000, not inclusive of bonuses

Requirements

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree; degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, and communications preferred
• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
• Able to work successfully within a team, handling high volume workload, and meeting tight deadlines under pressure
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Strong analytical abilities & proficiency in math
