Job Purpose

The Media Strategy Manager will work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop and execute media campaigns. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on, proactive, self-starter, with experience in media planning and/or strategy with some experience in a local capacity. This is a very collaborative and connected team dedicated to driving business results as well as fostering an environment for professional growth for their team members.

This role is housed within Enterprise Marketing and is an individual contributor role. This position manages an extensive network of third-party vendors in the marketing space and leads advertising and full-cycle campaign execution.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders to successfully execute campaigns across all media channels with focus on TV, print, radio, OOH, SEM, social, display and video
  • Work cross-functionally with creative development, media buying & traffic teams to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Manage detailed budget trackers and update investments throughout a campaign to avoid over or underspend
  • Oversee weekly digital performance reporting to ensure campaigns are pacing and delivering against campaign goals
  • Establish timelines for projects, deliver milestones on time and accurately
  • Manage tactical planning work with agency partner
  • Organize target audience research to identify demographics, behaviors, lifestyles and media habits to determine insights for campaign planning
  • Collect research on the industry, competitive set and audience and help prepare content for presentations
  • Holds regular status updates with external partners and internal team leads
  • Facilitate the sharing of data and insights among relevant internal parties to inform future strategies

What You Must Have:

3+ years related work experience to include3 years of experience in Media Planning, Media Strategy, Digital Media, SEM (paid search)

Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Marketing, advertising or communications or related field

Additional Required Qualifications

Media experience in a local capacity preferred

Strong digital capabilities preferred

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Strong organizational, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Willingness and eagerness to learn, adopt new technologies and solutions, and take on new opportunities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong understanding of Excel and PowerPoint

Experience working within media systems/platforms (Kantar, MOAT, Prisma, ComScore a plus)

What We Would Prefer You Have:

Advertising agency experience

Experience in consumer health industry

General Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.
