Job Description

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record Adverse Events (AEs) to ensure subject safety. Review active AEs before dosing and seek additional mentorship if needed.
• Perform technical procedures including blood collection, vital signs, and ECGs flawlessly.
• Assess out of range values for symptoms and medically intervene to ensure study subject safety.
• Perform various forms of dosing including oral, inhalation, and nasal.

• High school diploma or equivalent experience (GED).
• Texas Certified or licensed EMT/LVN and American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, Medical Assistant Certification, or course completion required.
• Proven experience comparable to 2 years in a clinical setting. A mix of education, training, and experience can meet the role's requirements.

• Strong skills in scope of practice including Basic Life Support.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in a professional and credible manner.
• Ability to lead multiple tasks and potential emergency medical situations.

• Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms.
• May require varied working hours, including 12-hour shifts.

• Frequently stands, twists waist, squats, and bends neck for 4-6 hours per day.
• Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.
• Moderate lifting of 15-30 lbs. with a maximum lift of 35 lbs.
