Medical Collector

Job description
One of our largest clients is looking for up to 10 new employees to help expand their centralized medical billing office (CBO). They have over 10 hospital in Maryland and many outpatient practices. You will go through a great training process to learn more about the organization and their systems. Pay Rate: up to $22/hour

Location: training onsite in Hunt Valley, MD for a few weeks and then option to be onsite or remote following that

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of recent hospital collections experience
• Must have experience with Health Insurance/Medicare/Medicaid denials and appeals
• Experience following up on claim status, resolving denials & rejections, re-billings, re-submitting claims, & filing appeals

• 3+ years of experience in medical billing/collections is preferred, but open to candidates with less experience
• Experience with a large EMR (Epic, Allscripts, Cerner, MedConnect, or something similar)
