Job Title-Customer Service Representative
Contract-13 Weeks contract
Location-San Diego, CA 92111
Hours-Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 - 17:00)
Pay – 22$/hr.
Description
Requirements:
1 year of experience as a Customer Service Representative in a healthcare setting such as a hospital, medical group, health insurance or other RBO (Bachelor’s degree considered in lieu of experience)
Knowledge of medical terminology to include ICD-10 codes, CPT codes, and HCPC codes
Computer skills to include Excel, Word, Outlook and data entry systems
Highly Preferred: Bachelor’s degree
Shift: Mon-Fri, 0830-1700 (8:30am-5pm PST), ON-SITE
Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative's primary job function is to promote favourable relationships with members, providers, and health plans through the prompt, accurate and courteous resolution of issues including but not limited to the following: authorization processing, claim research, coordinating translation services, and Primary Care Provider changes.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
