We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic physician to serve as Medical Director, leading clinical operations across decentralized and hybrid clinical trial models. In this role, you will function as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator, oversee clinical study execution, and provide expert guidance on patient populations, treatment paradigms, and regulatory engagement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including study operations, business development, and regulatory affairs, to optimize clinical trial design and adoption. • Serve as Principal or Sub-Investigator for clinical trials, ensuring scientific rigor and compliance with study protocols.
• Coordinate with study teams to onboard, train, and mentor investigators and staff across multiple studies.
• Provide clinical expertise to support study feasibility assessments, protocol design, and operational execution.
• Collaborate with business development teams during client meetings and proposal development to evaluate trial opportunities.
• Engage with regulatory bodies to validate clinical endpoints, address FDA and global regulatory requirements, and support decentralized trial adoption.
• Represent the organization at conferences and webinars, contributing thought leadership on medical and decentralized clinical trial practices.
• Contribute to publication of peer-reviewed articles and white papers, advancing the field and organizational visibility.

Requirements:

• Advanced medical degree (MD or equivalent) with board certification in Med/Peds or Pediatrics.
• Minimum 7 years of clinical and research experience in academia or pharmaceutical-sponsored studies.
• Proven experience as a Principal Investigator with demonstrated leadership in clinical research.
• Strong project management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities in decentralized or hybrid trial environments.
• Expertise in clinical research methodology, protocol development, and operational oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging sponsors, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google applications; familiarity with study-specific software is a plus.
• Preferred: knowledge of Spanish and experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
