Medical Director, PACE Program - Unique Opportunity
Job Description
The clinical team (physicians and NPs) provides care in an outpatient / ambulatory clinic setting and my client has four (4) centers in the San Diego, CA region.
**Must be able to work and live in San Diego, CA (client will relocate) and this requires a person to be onsite M-F (this is not a hybrid or remote role).
Summary: Under the supervision of the program Executive Director, provides general medical direction and supervision of the medical aspects of care for the program. The Medical Director is responsible for the delivery of participant care, clinical outcomes, and for the implementation, as well as oversight, of the quality assessment and performance improvement program. Engages and guides Quality Assurance Manager to participate in data analysis, implement quality improvement initiatives, and follow through with assigned performance improvement processes. Provides direction and supervision to all primary care providers and is responsible for the development and maintenance of medical policies and procedures/standards and protocols.
