Medicare Advantage Enrollment Agent

Here at the AWL Insurance Agency, our agents focus on helping consumers untangle the complexities of insurance coverage and help them develop insurance plans that they can keep for life. As a Medicare Advantage Enrollment Agent, you will help customers enroll in products to include Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug (MAPD) and Medicare Advantage (MA) plans and have the opportunity to sell Prescription Drug Plans (PDP).

Performance is rewarded and every Enrollment Agent has an opportunity to stay on with the AWL Insurance Agency to enroll year-round or transition into our Medicare Supplement team after Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).

General Responsibilities:   

• Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly enrollment targets  
• Discover needs of pre-qualified insurance seekers  
• Ability to overcome sales objections and close over the phone  
• Accurately record all required information in the agency management platform  
• Communicate with the management team on a regular basis    

Requirements:    

• A valid TX General Lines Life and Health Insurance License
• AHIP certification preferred
• Experience in Medicare products preferred but not required  
• Superior verbal communication skills
• Strong written communication skills
• Extremely reliable and dependable   
• Must reside in Texas
