What you are going to do

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
• Write complex test cases and execute automated tests
• Analyze test results and identify defects
• Collaborate with the development team to debug code and identify root causes of issues
• Improve testing processes

Who you are

You are a driven QA Engineer and you are looking to learn. You have a strong sense of ownership, high quality engineering standards and the ability to develop a high-quality testing strategy. You clearly communicate with others, and both seek out and provide constructive feedback. You maintain a growth mindset and you are eager to learn, acquire new skills and try new methodologies and processes to make sure we stay future proof.

• Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining automated tests with Test Automation frameworks such as Selenium, Protractor or Cypress
• Demonstrable knowledge of using and improving Testing Methodologies such as functional testing, integration testing, regression testing and performance testing
• Demonstrable understanding of TypeScript/JavaScript, including its features, syntax and best practices
• You should have a strong ability to debug code, identify the root cause of issues, and provide detailed analysis to developers
• You will need to work closely with developers and other team members, so excellent communication skills are critical. You must be able to communicate issues and explain test results clearly and concisely
• Certification for TMAP or ISTQB is a plus
• Basic understanding of Tosca is a plus

Who you will work with

You will join a partially remote cross-functional product team in the IT department of Schade Intermediair. In this department, we create B2B insurance products for intermediaries and direct customers. Our focus is to create an amazing user experience, expand our product offering and improve operational efficiency.

We work hybrid at NN. Together with your team, you decide where, how and when you work. The official location of this job is The Hague.
