Responsibilities

The MegaJackpot Specialist serves as the face of IGT to MegaJackpot primary award winning patrons and casino locations by responding to jackpot events via telephone, sharing on-call duties within the team to respond promptly upon a jackpot hit. They will be seen as the subject matter expert regarding jackpot verification, jackpot payments, jackpot winners, and all associated processes.

  • Responsible for explaining, administering, and coordinating the verification and payment process with jackpot winners, casinos, and IGT technicians.
  • Administer the ongoing payment and communication with jackpot winners, state and federal tax entities, gaming regulators, and internal departments such as Accounts Payable, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, and Legal.
  • Responsible for creating tax filings to the IRS and state entities.
  • Provides regular reports to IGT's Accounting function.
  • Prepares records and reporting of MegaJackpots payments.
  • Assist with administrative duties within the Technology Operations organization.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, especially winning patrons, as well as co-workers; works well in a team environment.
  • Use office automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries.
  • Reconcile difficult accounts.
  • May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required
  • Must be at 18+ years of age
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming card/license in multiple jurisdictions
  • Must be able to pass a Background Check
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Able to type 35 WPM and must have computer experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willing to work overtime/weekends and/or make schedule adjustments as needed
  • Credit check required

Preferred:

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4-6 years of administrative/coordination experience in accounting, finance, tax, Mega Jackpots and WAP processess
  • Experience with SAP and/or ACD systems

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $16.16 - $31.01. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
