Location:

This role can work remotely from anywhere in the USA. You must be legally authorized to work in the US. Bixal does not provide visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

The Program Associate will support Bixal’s Data/MEL practice areas. They will provide both administrative and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support on projects, including programming surveys, coding and/or analyzing qualitative or quantitative data, creating data visualizations, and conducting desk research.
• Draft and edit evaluation documents and reports and/or PowerPoints for project teams.
• Support business development process, including drafting proposal responses, updating corporate capability statements, and arranging discussions with partners.
• Assist different teams to recruit and hire consultants and/or subject matter experts for various tasks, including screening candidates, writing terms of reference and processing purchase orders/billing.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to project teams, including developing consulting agreements, arranging travel, hotels, visas, and insurance for travelling team members.
• Schedule meetings and take notes during presentations and/or trainings.
• Assist with knowledge management needs of the Practice.
• Assist in coordinating comms/graphic design support to the Practice
• Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. 
• At least 2 years of professional work experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a non-typical office environment.
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to work hours that suit clients or consultants in other time zones.
• Ability to follow through on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn.

Nice to Haves

• Work or study experience abroad/international development.
• Foreign language skills.
• Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative analysis software, such as Stata, R, Dedoose, or Atlas.ti.
