Job Description
About Carrot:
Carrot Fertility is the leading global fertility benefits provider for employers and health plans, built to support employees through their lifelong fertility healthcare journey. Companies use Carrot to customize an inclusive fertility benefit that provides employees financial, medical, and emotional support as they pursue parenthood and fertility care, reducing healthcare costs and resulting in better clinical outcomes.
The Role:
Carrot is seeking a Member Engagement Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of creative and strategic integrated engagement marketing campaigns that will accelerate member enrollment and engagement (through a combination of content, virtual webinars, on-demand resources, email, digital, direct mail, and other channels) with a focus on rigorous measurement of performance, testing, and optimization.Â
This role will be responsible for the planning, development and detailed execution of creative and engaging annual programming for monthly and quarterly campaigns focused on attracting, exciting, and engaging eligible employees and Carrot members throughout their lifecycle.Â
You must excel in both the analytical and creative sides of marketing - identifying new, innovative campaign themes, ideas, and opportunities. This role must also have out-of-this-world attention to detail and project management skills to manage cross-functional logistics of delivering seamless, delightful campaigns that move members to action, leave members wanting more, and uniquely differentiate Carrot as a benefits company.Â
The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for health and technology, and a successful track record driving member acquisition, engagement, and retention.Â
- Develop and execute effective integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive awareness of Carrot among employees (by providing assets/tools to our Customers) and engagement among enrolled members (design thoughtfully detailed and themed campaigns that include member webinars, on-demand resources, developing promotional and digital marketing assets to promote the campaign, campaign emails, etc)
- Collaboratively develop and manage our annual programming calendar with future monthly and quarterly campaigns that are sure to resonate with Customers, employees and Carrot member needsÂ
- Lead project plans for each campaign project, including logistics, timelines, and communication plans for getting the word out to employees and members, as well as internal Carrot teams
- Build on our webinar playbook to scale over time and own the start-to-finish planning and execution of eligible employee and member-facing webinars, including working cross-functionally to pull together all the pieces needed to put on a helpful and engaging webinar
- Develop and execute on a testing framework (includes a/b testing) to consistently drive new learnings across the team and improve conversion rates of integrated campaigns shared with Customers, employees and Carrot members
- Build and maintain key growth KPIs; proactively track and evaluate campaign results against goals and identify areas for improvementÂ
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Content, Design, Customer Experience and Product to test and scale new integrated campaign ideas
The Team:Â
We aren’t merely looking for an accomplished and passionate marketer, but are also looking for one with a heart for helping as many employees and members as possible to overcome the complications and challenges that often accompany fertility healthcare and family-forming journeys. If that’s you, join our bright, empathetic, and caring growth and engagement team to help us ensure all employees who have Carrot as a benefit know what we are about and how we can support them. This role will report to Carrot’s Senior Director of Growth and Engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:Â
- 5-7 years of marketing experienceÂ
- 3-4 years of (ideally B2B2C or B2C) experience in account based marketing and/or experience leading and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable employee and member engagement, ideally within high-growth companiesÂ
- Comfort with the ambiguity inherent in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong content writing skills; the ability to jump in and begin writing copy for necessary components of a integrated member engagement campaign (i.e. landing pages, emails); partner closely with member engagement content team to take it to the next level before shipping
- Curious marketer; you are unafraid to ask questions and have an insatiable sense of curiosity to ask why and/or figure it out
- Excellent analytical skills; you are eager to dig into the campaign results, interpret the data, draw conclusions, and share insights to inform what’s next
- Stellar project management and prioritization skills with mastery of the details; you’re able to manage multiple projects at any given time and enjoy putting process in place to work more efficiently with growth and scale Â
- Ability to prioritize and focus your efforts on the highest impact opportunities
- Dedicated to delivering a high quality member experience through thoughtful details, added small touches, and execution
- Self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills
- Track record of effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration across time zones
- Must demonstrate an ability to quickly learn new technologies and growth tools/platforms (e.g. building landing pages in CMS tool)
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve across teams and tools
- Experience with or ability to quickly learn basic video editing capabilities (e.g. iMovie)Â
- Experience hosting Zoom webinars and the logistics of scheduling/hosting webinars a plus
- Some knowledge with Asana, Domo, Splash a plus
Compensation:Â
