Mendix Architect (App Architect)

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being Conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

App Architect will work closely with the Product Owner, Other Developers, Internal and External clients to develop solutions using Mendix that will provide meaningful business value to Internal and External clients. Being hands-on and playing an intrinsic part of the Architecture and Development process using the Mendix Low-code Platform. Will be responsible for the preparation and execution of multiple phases; through project planning, development and successful customer adoption. Responsible to drive innovation, organization wide change management initiatives. Experience Agile delivery methodology is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead our clients through their digital transformation in the context of the Mendix Low-code Platform
• Implement solutions to business and technology challenges and recommend creative approaches to solving clients' business problems using Mendix methodologies.
• Deliver baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate, track and articulate the value realization of Customer business benefits in the context of the Mendix Low-code Platform.
• Motivating clients with the values and principals of a Scrum/Agile led implementations with Mendix
• Responsible for the preparation and execution of multiple phases; through project planning, development and successful customer adoption.

Skills / Attributes Required

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Proficient in technical/business communication - articulating the solution design to customers
• Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong writing, mentoring, decision-making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets.
• Demonstrated track record of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders with the ability to work with senior level executives across multiple business lines and regions
• Ability to operate in an heavily matrixed organizational environment
• Strong knowledge in using the Mendix platform, this includes page building, logic building in Microflows and Nanoflows, altering the design of Mendix applications with Atlas UI, Pluggable Widget development using React JS.
• Experience in Integrations using OData Framework, JSON / REST / SOAP Web Services and preferably the Mendix Data Hub
• Hands-on experience in platform, cloud, and runtime architecture
• 3+ years of relevant Solution Architecture experience with a good understanding of the aPaaS/PaaS and cloud market space
• 5+ years of App development using Mendix low code platform
• 10+ years of IT industry experience, in systems analysis, design and development and in functional and technical areas of Business Process Automation, Operational efficiency, Customer engagement & Migration of legacy apps.
• E2E implementation experience of Mendix solution for Web, Native Mobile & Hybrid applications in public cloud, private cloud and on-premise' infrastructure
• Design experience in integrating Mendix platform with external Enterprise systems such as Teamcenter, SAP, CRM & cloud services.
