Mendix Engineer
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Platform Stabilization & Support
· Resolve production defects, incidents, and problem tickets within SLA timelines
· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes
· Support incident triage, prioritization, and resolution workflows
· Ensure platform reliability, availability, and performance improvements
Development & Enhancement
· Design, build, and enhance Mendix applications aligned with existing architecture
· Implement minor enhancements and change requests based on business needs
· Maintain quality and consistency of application models, microflows, and integrations
· Ensure adherence to coding standards, reusable components, and best practices
Collaboration & Delivery
· Collaborate with onshore teams, SMEs, and business stakeholders
· Support Agile delivery ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
· Work closely with support teams for smooth handover and resolution tracking
Quality & Governance
· Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities
· Ensure compliance with security, audit, and governance standards
· Maintain proper documentation of fixes, enhancements, and design changes
Required Skills & Experience
Core Technical Skills
· Strong experience in Mendix development (Mx 8/9/10 preferred)
· Proficiency in:
o Microflows & Nanoflows
o Domain modeling
o REST/SOAP integrations
o Mendix Studio Pro
· Experience in debugging and optimizing Mendix applications
Platform & Support Experience
· Exposure to application support / stabilization environments
· Experience in:
o Incident management (e.g., ServiceNow or equivalent)
o SLA-driven support models
o Root cause analysis and defect resolution
Development Practices
· Familiarity with:
o Agile / Scrum methodologies
o Version control (Git, Mendix Team Server)
o CI/CD pipelines (nice to have)

· Mendix Certification (Rapid / Intermediate / Advanced Developer)
· Experience in energy/utilities or large enterprise platforms
· Familiarity with low-code ecosystems and LCNC best practices
· Exposure to performance tuning and platform monitoring

· Supports organization-wide LCNC capability build and readiness
