Men's Planning Manager

Faherty is seeking a seasoned, entrepreneurial, and innovative Men’s Planning Manager to lead our strategy and execution for our men’s department. In partnership with the merchandising department, the Manager will be responsible for building and executing the financial roadmap for our product strategies.
This role is based in our HQ in Manhattan
What you’ll do:
- Develop omni-channel merchandise plans that deliver company sales, gross margin, and inventory productivity goals
- Manage omni-channel end-to-end planning process
- Pre-Season merchandise tops down category plans
- Pre-season bottoms-up assortment plans
- Optimal sizing of buys
- In-season OTB and forecasting
- Pricing and promo recommendations
- Off-price recommendations
- In partnership with supply chain, manage order placement into ERP systems
- Analyze weekly reports by category to anticipate store needs and make recommendations based on sales-to-inventory ratios.
- Provide both qualitative and quantitative analysis at quarterly and seasonal hindsight and investment reviews, drawing insights to affect future product line architecture
- Perform margin and cost analysis to ensure margin targets are achieved, and highlight risks and variances
- Drive weekly business discussions with merchandising and retail teams to analyze the business, digging deeper into selling trends
- Develop and evolve standardized reports and processes to drive efficiencies and advance the team’s productivity
- Solicit and perform ad-hoc analysis as needed
What you’ll have:
- Experience and proficiency in excel, specifically in planning and allocation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail planning
- Analytical and mathematical proficiency
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and is able to pivot as the business needs change
- Experience within a multi-channel apparel company
- Exhibit quick turnaround time on fast paced business changes
We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 per year, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer. In addition to salary, we offer all Faherty employees an annual bonus opportunity as well as benefits and perks, outlined below.
