THE ROLE: Merchandise Coordinator, Residual

We’re looking for…

We are looking for a Merchandise Coordinator to support our Residual merchandising team. The assistant will provide administrative support, specifically focused on the execution of residual, flash, and select marketing campaigns.  The Coordinator will serve a point of contact for communication among key cross-functional teams and departments.

What You’ll Do…

• Build and maintain events by reviewing merchandise and product availability
• Analyze available inventory to assist with event concepts and construction
• Execute and refresh residual, flash and marketing boutiques
• Support cross-functional communication with appropriate teams
• Support miscellaneous tasks as required to execute merchandising functions
• Use Merchandising expertise to provide input and suggestions for new initiatives

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Previous retail background preferred; exposure to fashion and merchandising highly desirable; Passion for fashion a must
• Self-starter who is highly organized and detail-oriented and can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel); comfortable with tools in an online environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; Ability to express point of view and be an active participant in daily business conversations.

Base Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000

Rue Gilt Groupe is committed to providing Associates with equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including prior experience, skills and expertise, location, and internal equity. Our goal is to support, reward and compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, equity, 401(k) match, and a variety of benefits. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
