Grocery delivery is our business! We are looking for a Dispatch Clerk that is great a problem-solver with the ability to handle escalated driver issues and ensure deliveries arrive to customers as scheduled. Using tools such as Roadnet and the MobileCast program the Dispatcher Clerk will adjust driver routes as needed and contact customers to facilitate deliveries and provide updates regarding order status. The Dispatch Clerk is a part of our Dispatch team within the Transportation Department and reports to the Dispatch Supervisor.
Recipe for Success - What's "in store" for the role:

• Is the main point of contact for delivery drivers to assist with navigation, routing assistance, and act as a liaison between drivers and customers
• Update customer database records concerning delivery issues that may have occurred during the delivery process
• Partner with the Transportation Management team to coordinate driver assistance when delivery schedules are negatively impacted
• Report vehicle and/or equipment issues to the Transportation Management team
• Contact customers to inform them of day-of issues affecting their orders
• Serve as a liaison between drivers and the Customer Care department
• Develop and maintain a general knowledge of routing strategies
• Track and update routing assignments as necessary

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Call Center experience
• Dispatch experience
• Ability to navigate various software application systems simultaneously
