Metal Fabricator/Welder

About Us: Job Description Our rapidly growing custom fabrication company needs an experienced Welder to join our team. We’re looking for a hardworking energetic professional who enjoys meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations. We are seeking long term, full-time candidates for the day shift, Monday thru Friday with overtime as needed. Key Skills and Competencies: • Must have experience in welding mild steel, stainless steel, & aluminum • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience welding in a manufacturing environment • Knowledge of welding practices • Knowledge of reading drawings and blueprints. • Must be able to read tape measure, be proficient at layout, and have experience reading plans and specs. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • Perform MIG, TIG and other types of weld based on project needs • Verify material sizes • Interpret drawings to cut, notch, fit, and weld materials to proper specifications • Monitor and verify the accuracy of each job’s initial set-up and final outcome • Communicates with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Pay Rate:Starting at $17.00 per hour and up depending on experience and ability to pass a Weld Test.
